George Benedek

Born in Sydney Australia, 1955.

 

I love taking photos, and seeing people happy and enjoying themselves.

I also love crisp, clear photos of cars and still life subjects as well as insects and flowers.

 

I have been taking photos since I was a very small boy and was given my first SLR camera at the age of 11.

This was in the days of film, and my first SLR was an Exacta, which was fully manual with no built-in light meter or auto-focus, so I learned photography the hard way.

My father is a multi-award winning photographer and accredited International Photography Judge. I learned a lot from him over the years and we spent many days taking photos together and many nights in his darkroom developing and printing photos - even in colour.

 

My passion for photography has never waned.

I was the managing director of a NSW Top 500 company for over 20 years, even winning a special commendation for Managing Director of the Year Award in 1998, and this job kept me very busy, so much so, that photography had to be purely a hobby.

Now that I have sold that business, I can now devote much more time to my photography, and am now offering my passion and many years of experience to take photos for you.

 

My specialties are Event Photography, Product Photography, Real Estate Photography and also specialised photography such as technical photos, especially photos of very small objects.

I also love to do land and city scapes, and I am especially skilled in low light photography, like night time events and fireworks.

I'm also skilled in the use of Photoshop and video editing software too, so I can make those little changes that no-one would ever notice.
